This May, we bid farewell to four enthusiastic undergraduate students who complete research credits or internships in the spring semester. Elyse and Catalin attended the 2023 NIAMRRE Annual Conference – Addressing the Gaps in AMR (#AntimicrobialResistance). We were fortunate that professionals from academia, industry, and government (including CDC and USDA) gathered to discuss the issues across One Health spectrum (plants, animals, humans, and the environment) in Gainesville.
The NIAMMRE conference featured a private tour of the UF INNOVATE | ACCELERATE @ SID MARTIN BIOTECH incubator space in nearby Alachua.
